This project grew from years of sunrise walks, swims in calm morning water and a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of Huskisson. As a Shoalhaven based family, we wanted to create something that reflects the way this place truly feels — calm, refined and close to nature. We’re not a large corporation; this is a personal project shaped by lived experience.
Scandinavian design principles, sustainable choices and thoughtful architecture have guided every decision. The result is a boutique collection of homes that balance simplicity, softness and coastal clarity — created by people who love this shoreline and understand its rhythm.

It is with sadness that we must imminently bid our studio administrator adieu. For 6 years Megan has been the glue in our organisation, the PB&J in our sandwich, the bubbles in our champagne. We recently launched a new website for @ruhwollongong – a growing Illawarra cafe brand built on connection, community and a genuine love of coffee.
With branding already established, our role was to translate the soul of RÜH into a digital experience. An expressive, hand-drawn illustration style became central to the design direction, helping to create a site that feels warm, human and distinctly different – much like the cafes themselves.
Subtle animation, custom icons and layered video content bring the experience to life, while maintaining a sense of ease and clarity for users. The result is a website that balances personality with performance.
From a functionality perspective, the site is designed to support both customers and the business as it continues to grow. Users can easily find locations, book a table, order online via Bopple, purchase gift cards and shop merchandise – all within a seamless experience.
RÜH has built something special across its four locations – and this website reflects that. Thoughtful, considered and grounded in what matters most: people.
